What happens to every berry

  1. We temper the chocolate

    Dark and milk, both Belgian, beans from farmer co-ops in Côte d’Ivoire and Ecuador.

  2. We dip every berry by hand

    One at a time, the morning it goes out.

  3. We paint the colour on

    With coloured cocoa butter, after the chocolate sets.

  4. We stripe them with chocolate

    A paper cone, a steady hand — line after line.

  5. We decorate each box to your brief

    Edible gold, rose petals, marshmallow.

The cocoa is ethically sourced: part of what you pay goes back to the farmers who grew it.

What comes in the box

  • The berries. Fresh, whole, with the green calyx left on, dipped in dark or milk chocolate.
  • The colour. Painted on with coloured cocoa butter after the chocolate sets, then striped with a paper cone. You name the colour.
  • The card. Cut to the shape of the occasion and lettered to your message. Included in every size.
  • The photo. I send you a picture of the packed box before it leaves.

Getting it there

Order by 10:00 and the box can go out the same day. A run leaves when there are four or more addresses on it.
