Privacy
One person handles your details, and that person is me. Here is exactly what I hold and for how long.
What I collect
- From you: your name, your phone or email, and what the card should say.
- About the delivery: the recipient’s name, the address, the date and the time window.
- Nothing about payment cards. Card details never reach me; they go to the payment provider.
Why
To make the box, get it to the right door on the right day, send you the photo before it leaves, and answer you if something goes wrong. That is the whole list. I do not build profiles and I do not sell anything to anyone.
Analytics on the site
The site carries two visit counters: Yandex Metrica and Google’s tag (Google Analytics and the ads tag, loaded through Google Tag Manager). They show me which pages people read and where visitors come from, so I know what to improve. They see page views and clicks, not your name, your messages or your card details. The counters set their own cookies; the card payment happens on Stripe’s page, where none of my counters run.
The recipient’s details, and why this section exists
When you send a gift, you give me somebody else’s name and address. They did not give it to me themselves, which under the Privacy Act 2020 makes it an indirect collection, and since May 2026 that has to be said out loud rather than buried.
- I use the recipient’s details only to deliver that one box.
- I do not contact them afterwards, and they are not added to anything.
- If they ask me what I hold about them, I tell them, and I delete it on request.
How long I keep it
- Order records: kept while they are needed for tax and for repeat orders.
- Message threads: kept as long as the conversation is useful to you and to me.
- A saved occasion date, if you asked for a reminder: kept until you tell me to drop it.
Reminders and messages
I only send a reminder if you ticked the box asking for one, and it is one message before the date, not a mailing list. Reply once and it stops.
